Tourist Bunny

Bunny’s family came visiting…a great chance to revisit some of my favourite sights in London…

London Eye

St James Park

Tower Hill

Richmond Park

Such a perfect day…

Bunny has always loved Primrose Hill, and this time around the trip there was as great, starting out with tea at the Waterside Cafe in Little Venice, and canal boat ride to Camden Lock and then some Pinot Grigio

Another riverside walk

So, Easter time and time to check out the Thames Path on my way to the Boat Race. Sounds like a good plan? Well, would have been an easy half hour riverside walk, had it not been for the path being blocked every 5 minutes, meaning diversions to cross ugly industrial areas and main roads…

Still, quite nice walk, especially through Wandsworth Park…

Frekkorn…

St James Park…or cheeky squirrel…much fun to be had with the squirrels in St James Park…especially in the surprisingly mild December weather ;)

St James Park

Do they know it’s Christmas time…?

05122009150Cherry blossom trees in St James Park - in December….it’s a mad mad world…

Cherry blossoms

Burn, baby, burn!

BonfireExcellent bonfire and amazing fireworks in Battersea Park :D The fireworks were timed with music – a great experience that left us in the mood to go dancing in town :D

I love how the English celebrate that a guy was tortured and killed for trying to do something that may tempt quite a few these days…good excuse for a party tho :D

Square mile…

Russel SquareBunny should really know better than walking around London without a map…got a bit lost today…good thing was that I got to walk through Russel Square, which was very pretty…(but worst bit is that I should already know this area well from our latest Circle Line Pub Crawl…oh well…)

Also great so see that the flowers are still in bloom…no proper autumn in London just yet…

British Museum

Later found myself outside the British Museum….hello Lion :D

On Avon again

Billesley ManorAh, back in Stratford – this time in the place with the freaky hedges….apparently Shakespeare wrote As You Like It in the library where we had our meeting and they claim that maybe he got married there too… Bunny didn’t mind sleeping in the barn, but the food was quite disappointing for a hotel that leaves dinner recipes for the guests in the bedroom….

Warren House

Bunny is in love with a hotel…Warren House between Richmond Park and Kingston
