Stupid black cabs…Bunny is all against illegal cabs, but life would be a lot easier for us all if licensed minicabs could pick up passengers too….as if there is ever a black cab around when you need one?
Bunny does however recommend everyone to save the cabwise number to their mobile phone….
The secretive party turned out to be at Build-A-Bear in Covent Garden…where we made teddies that we gave away to charity! Much fun, tho I had an inkling that the children there were a bit scared of the 20 adults going gaga over the choice
Bunny made friends with Gooner Bunny, def the coolest of the lot – check out her accessories – I love the pink bunny mobile
Bunny is going to a very secretive party this weekend…all we know is that we’re meeting in a Covent Garden location at 5pm…at that we’re allowed to be childish…fun, fun, fun!
Argh, they got to me again! Bunny hates the TV Licence with a vengeance….if they want public broadcasting bloody fund it over the tax system instead of inventing a new…
The new tube map has lost the river Thames and the zones…is someone on drugs? Bunny will hold on to her old map at all costs!!!
So, one of Bunny’s closest neighbours is a massive council estate, including York Gardens. Bunny hasn’t seen any dancing policemen there, but was pleased to see two policemen on horses (far left in the pic)…actually interacting with some young boys – they normally flee the police on that estate…
Bunny is aware that the film has been made into a book – hence the cover – but strongly recommends that you read the book first, or even instead. The book is incredibly funny, set in London (Bunny passed through the area where he lives doing field visits in North East London), and it is the author’s own story…meaning of course that certain parts could probably have been cut out, but hey…. This version of the book even has a section about the making of the movie. And the reason why the film is so different than the book is that he still was on this “yes” quest… Bunny recommends as a good laugh!
Bunny is fairly aware of living in close proximity to a large council estate, and that the shortest way to the train is crossing through it…so far the most troubling scenes have been a few young guys assembling in groups and the occasional police car passing through tho…so even I thought it must be a bit of an exaggeration setting up this sign on the telephone box…until I realised it was an ad for a new movie
Two girls passing in the other direction were actually trying to call the number, still wonder what they found out
