Battersea nights

After a week of late night socialising AND full-on stress at work plus long days of shopping for Kitty, we opted for an easy outdoor dinner at Battersea Rickshaw on the Square. Enjoyable Indian cuisine, and the waiter and chef did their best to adhere to Kitty’s dietary requirements. Arriving quite late we were probably also the last guests to leave, well, what can you do about those late night licences….?

Westfield life

So, Kitty dragged Bunny over to Westfield for dinner and a movie…part of the story was that Kitty had been shopping there all day and refused to leave. Well, was fun seeing Bridges Wharf from the river – on the overground bridge – and we had a surprisingly delicious Malaysian meal at Jom Makan before seeing Inception, which was fab (and Bunny is not a fan of Leo)! A good night out – and we caught the last train back with seconds to spare :D

Warning…

London beware…

tomorrow Kitty is arriving with an empty suitcase and some serious shopping plans :D

Another mystery parcel…

Yet another mystery parcel arrived at the concierge’s today…this time not for Kitty, but for Kitty’s Helten… Rumour has it he’s been shoe shopping ;) Bunny’s delivery service is re-shipping to Norway….

Carrie-on…

Woken up by the postman on waken on Saturday morning, Bunny was very curious as to who had sent her a parcel from Amazon…but soon realised to her delight that she had finally got her x-mas present from Kitty: The Carrie Diaries :D Perfect timing too, as Bunny knew she would have a long week of travelling in front of her. So what to say about the book…great reading, as most books from Candice Bushnell, of course interesting to see where it all started…however hard to believe that the slightly detached and quite mature teenager would later grow up to become the slightly hysterical character in Sex and the City…maybe something has been lost in her on-screen persona?

Now curious to hear what Kitty has to say about it…

It’s the One!

Like Kitty, Bunny’s favourite cola is Pepsi Max…so I was a tad disappointed when I couldn’t find it in LA…until I discovered that it is called Pepsi One!

Now, there were of course other drinks on offer. Bunny loved how the juice bar in Farmer’s Market is called Eple – Norwegian for Apple :D

And then, there are of course also other alternatives…

Mystery parcel 3

Italian mystery parcelSo, another not-so-mystery parcel for Kitty arrived today…Bunny knows what it is as she was not only made to pay for it, but actually to buy it online ;)

Again, luckily FedEx were clever enough to deliver the parcel to the concierge…and surprisingly he was working late tonite…

Mystery parcel the sequel…

07122009190Bunny thinks she deserves a great x-mas pressie…Kitty has been shopping online again, and Bunny has promised to bring the parcel back to Norway for x-mas, no problem…only, the stupid delivery company completely ignored instructions about handing it to the concierge..and instead dropped it off at my local Post Office which is only open 8.30-17.30 and very unorganised – and they didn’t even check if that was OK…not exactly convenient delivery… Bunny did however find an excuse to leave work early and managed to pick it up. So, what is Kitty getting Bunny for x-mas?

(now only hoping my online Twilight shopping for my niece don’t get the same treatment)
