I’ve got the Tower

Bunny finally made it into Tower of London

The Crown Jewels were impressive, the guard was not. The ravens not quite as big as I expected…but most impressed by the lions’ den ;)

Scottish roadtrip part 3

The first Scottish roadtrip saw Bunny playing tartan games in Edinburgh and checking out the lochs.

On the second round we visited Nessie and relaxed on Isle of Skye and the beautiful beaches of the West Coast…

Third time lucky for another evening in Glasgow, castles and walls :D

Doune Castle – where is the giant wooden rabbit?

Bologna Bunny :D

Lucky Bunny got to enjoy a couple of days in Bologna. Between work and dinners I didn’t get to see much, however the food was delicious…the ragu is nothing like the ‘Pasta Bolognese’ we get elsewhere… And gorgeous views of the Alps both on my way there and back ;)

Who’s a Toby?

Bunny is starting to feel the toll of a week of splurging out…lunch at the Toby Carvery was good too ;)

Spring is in the air…

Even earlier than last year (these pictures are a few weeks old)…

White Christmas…

Bunny had the most beautiful Christmas in Norway…the real winter wonderland :D

Beautiful Oslo

Back in the homeland for Yule :)

The only way is up…

…Bunny just loved the pretty light while walking out from the parking garage…

Well read :D

With all the travelling lately, Bunny has steadily worked her way through lots of great books…

Bunny’s recommended reading list:

Markus Zusak: The Book Thief

Aravind Adiga: The White Tiger

Another David Mitchell: Ghostwritten

all 3 great reads and well worth the time…

Then, not so sure about Elizabeth Gilbert: Eat, Pray, Love

In lots of ways, the book is entertaining, in lots of way, just plain boring. The author is at some point asking herself if she is selfish…but to me she just comes across as very self-absorbed. Not a crime, but, yes, boring… And it doesn’t really help that it has been made into a film starring Julia Roberts. Very much a must-not see…

Bar Bunny…

The bar in Bunny’s building has finally opened…

The Vertilon has a lot of charm for a hotel bar, so Bunny and neighbours had a pleasant evening checking out the terrace overlooking the Thames, however at £10 per glass of Pinot Grigio (and they included service charge even if you get the drink yourself at the bar) it will probably not become a regular hang-out spot for anyone but hotel residents…
