Glorious Marco…

Glorious SoupHaving tried the restaurant, on a rainy day in London I thought I’d try the soup he endorses…disappointed! Probably good ingredients, but not exactly spicy…may have been because I made the mistake of buying it from Asda ;)

Fruity :D

FruitiserBunny has always loved Appletiser, and is no less fan of their new Fruitiser range :D (even if it is a Coca Cola Company product). Lucky Bunny got a free sample from Toni&Guy, who are obviously doing some co-promotion, and will def be buying more in the future. Such a joy with something that hasn’t had any sugar added ;) Bunny is convinced that they are delicious with a bit of booze added too…enjoy responsibly, right ;)

Sblended in Southampton!

Sblended milkshakes voucherSo, having spent a day in Southampton, Bunny hasn’t really got much to add about the city over what has already been said by others…not I place I’d choose to visit again methinks.

I did however notice a massive marketing stunt – at the Food Terrace in West Quay shopping centre – from Sblended Milkshakes (apparently they used to be know as Shake About….not that I had ever heard about either before now). Vouchers and samples being handed out by young men; I guess they are targeting girls :D Not sure how well it work, as seriously, these days, would you not prefer a healthy, but just as tasty smoothie…?

Ass-dah!

CheeseIt’s no secret that Bunny loves her cheese…so I was very disappointed after being tempted by poxy 3 for 2 offer in Asda…the cheese slices stick together and no, the pack is not really resealable! Think a return to Jarlsberg and Cathedral City is very much required!!!

Surely too good to be true…?

Barry CallebautThe Guardian reports about a new chocolate that contains 90% less calories than ordinary chocolate…and still tastes good? I don’t really believe it until I see it, but it sounds very promising :)

Also one to watch is Johannes Døderlein who has invented an ecological raw vegan chocolate…”Ekte Sjokolade” – real chocolate (both sites are in Norwegian) – the big discussion is whether it is actually any healthier…

Ekte sjokolade

Last chance to try?

Bohemian RaspberryApparently Bohemian Raspberry will be put in the flavour graveyard in 2009…though not as fab as Cherry Garcia (but so much better than the low fat version), deffo worth a try, especially during summer…. Chocolate Therapy went the same way in 2008…and Dublin Mudslide the year before…Bunny misses them already!

Not convinced…

Low fat Cherry GarciaBunny and friends have just tested the new low fat Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia, and Bunny is SO not convinced… The flavour is actually the same, but the consistence is of course…frozen yogurt, not ice cream..and there are far less chocolate chunks too! Since I am more concerned about the sugar content than the fat, I think I will stick with the real thing if given the choice…

Fair enough

Ben & Jerry's Chocolate MacadamiaBunny is a great fan of Ben & Jerry’s, with Cherry Garcia as a clear favourite so far, but she is also nuts about macadamia nuts…what then better than Ben & Jerry’s new fairtrade variety…? It does contain more chocolate than nuts, but who is complaining…?

Lunch delights ;)

 Hass avocados

Bunny is currently completely hooked on houmous with caramelised onions (no Clubcard points for guessing where I shop for groceries). Another favourite is the salsa with coriander. Chuck in some whole grain pitta and some cheese and Bunny is in heaven. Especially nice with some Hass avocados…has to be the ripe and ready to eat version though…

I want that one!

Easter eggBunny hopes that her friend the Easter Bunny brings her a Green & Blacks chocolate egg this year as well… I was a bit worried when Cadbury’s bought the company a few years ago, but the quality seems to remain untouched… There are a lot more price offers lately, and though it is probably not great for the brand it it makes Bunny happy :D
