The thon…

So, Bunny watched her friend run the London Marathon…great location in Tower Hill, outside the Hung, Drawn and Quartered Public House, where they handed out free London Pride, and cheering for random runners was great fun :)

Perhaps the highlight was spotting Snoop Doggy Dog…or, was he just a regular policeman…? Guess we will never know…

After the return to town on a very packed tube I can easily image the runners’ relief when seeing Big Ben on the last mile of their journey….

Riverside life…

Bunny still loves riverside living. What is better than a leisurely stroll down to the Waterfront for a cold drink and some snacks? And in in the evening, dining in Thai on the River… OK, perhaps slow service, however great food and a great view while we were waiting…and two free glasses of wine for the delay…

Such a perfect day…

Bunny has always loved Primrose Hill, and this time around the trip there was as great, starting out with tea at the Waterside Cafe in Little Venice, and canal boat ride to Camden Lock and then some Pinot Grigio

Revolving around the Axis

Bunny had the pleasure of dining in Axis at One Aldwych with good friends. The reviews all state “a stunning new design by Mary Fox Linton and a new Modern British menu from former Marco Pierre White student Executive Chef Tony Fleming”…and guess what; they are right!

Also, great service – and you can’t beat a 3-course meal at that standard, including wine and tea…at just over £50 :D

Go Cambridge!

Finally Cambridge won the Boat Race :D

It’s no secret that Bunny cheers for Cambridge, having lived there :D

And Bunny had a rare treat on her way there…a special little strip tease by the boys, right outside her doorstep ;)

Another riverside walk

So, Easter time and time to check out the Thames Path on my way to the Boat Race. Sounds like a good plan? Well, would have been an easy half hour riverside walk, had it not been for the path being blocked every 5 minutes, meaning diversions to cross ugly industrial areas and main roads…

Still, quite nice walk, especially through Wandsworth Park…

Spring is in the air…

…and the water park in Bridges Wharf  is coming along nicely :D

Another random trip to Brussels…

So, back in Brussels…Still not Bunny’s favourite capital, but this time around made a lot more pleasant by sunshine and the availability of Pepsi Max ;) – plus visiting a friend and checking out Zizi

Saw a few of the sights of course…

The Novotel Grand Place was absolutely fine – cool bar – and love the bike rack right outside…

Happy blogging

Bunny just realised that while she was in Los Angeles her blog celebrated its 1 year anniversary :D

It all started here, at WordPress, but Bunny soon moved on to her own domain….

Happy blogging!

Book of today…

With all the travelling lately, Bunny has had a lot of time to read…and I have to admit that lots of it has been chick-lit, not even worth mentioning ;) However, among all the chick lit, Cecelia Ahern always stands out. Bunny has probably read everything she has had published so far, most people are familiar with P.S. I Love You, however, Where Rainbows End, If You Could See Me Now, A Place Called Here, Thanks for the Memories and The Gift  are all worth reading (and Samantha Who is of course funny too). So, The Book of Tomorrow, definitely worth a read too….took me a little while to warm to the main character, however, as always there is a thickening plot, more complexity involved than you’d think…and think I’m not revealing too much when I say that there is also a happy ending :D
