Now licence this!

TV LicensingArgh, they got to me again! Bunny hates the TV Licence with a vengeance….if they want public broadcasting bloody fund it over the tax system instead of inventing a new…

Honestly…

The Honest Cabbage

All this sunny space to myself  on a sunny lunch-break in Kingston…I like it :D Friendly landlord too… Forgot to ask about the name tho, what’s so honest about the cabbage?

Hooked

3M Command hookBunny likes 3M Command hooks :D

Great Americans?

The Lost SymbolSo, Bunny just finished Dan Brown’s latest book, The Lost Symbol. A little less conspiracy theory this time…so it lacks a bit of edge…and there is something really weird about his admiration for the Masons…quite catching read tho, and I do sympathise with a lot of the views. Would probably head enjoyed it even more if I’d actually been to Washington. Even so, Bunny would still prefer to read more about dust ;)

Oink oink!

Pink PigAlbumsBunny LOVES Pink Pig - and has been buying their books to use as photo albums for quite a few years now… I have however been annoyed with Fielders in Wimbledon as they always seem to be sold out when I need a new one – poor stock management – so this time around I decided to try and find them online…and result :D

The website is a bit confusing if you don’t know exactly what you’re after – Bunny recommends the Posh Silk Pigs and the Posh Spotty and Banana Pigs – in A4 size… I did also save about 50% – even including the postage…Bunny will be shopping more online in the future…

Mail, bloody mail….

Royal MailBunny quite likes the postcode system in the UK, which makes finding addresses, directions and travel itineraries simple….but what then when my new postcode isn’t live yet in any systems, including Royal Mail’s… (have only been living here for about 2 months now). Been trying to get Travel for London, Transport Direct and all my other favourite sites to update their databases, but to no avail so far….now resorting to use the postcode for the heliport….

Then again, I guess it would not make much difference to my mail not being delivered due to the annoying strike…the only more annoying action was the tube strike earlier this year. Still waiting for my birthday presents and cards to be delivered. Bastards!

365 heli spotting :D

Varma Tec free standingAh, the excitement…Bunny has just ordered herself a heater for her balcony… Hopefully they have the sense not to try and deliver it by Royal Mail…that strike is really pissing me off!!!

Post purchase note… Yes, the parcel was actually delivered, after some initial misunderstanding, but very helpfully sorted by Heat Outdoors. Perhaps not so helpful was the fact that the heater was delivered without assembly instructions (and the assembly was extremely fiddly)…plus with a European plug!!! (which, and I quote, “is perfectly normal, often they are even delivered without a plug!”) Right…good thing I had an adaptor!

On Avon again

Billesley ManorAh, back in Stratford – this time in the place with the freaky hedges….apparently Shakespeare wrote As You Like It in the library where we had our meeting and they claim that maybe he got married there too… Bunny didn’t mind sleeping in the barn, but the food was quite disappointing for a hotel that leaves dinner recipes for the guests in the bedroom….

Sunset!

SunsetOn a rainy day Bunny likes to remember the beautiful sunsets she has seen from her balcony so far this year…

The Circle Line Pub Crawl – again

Circle Line Pub CrawlHow on earth did we manage to do 1/4 of the Circle Line without even getting on the tube..oh yes, we walked…Liverpool Street to Great Portland Street on foot… Got a bit distracted by sunny weather and scaryoke on the way… We WILL finish the final leg – 8 stations, this year ;)
