Done and dusted!

His Dark MaterialsBunny was recommend to read the series, though I was sceptical after seeing the filmatisation of the first book, known as The Golden Compass…and was not only pleasantly surprised, but got completely hooked and couldn’t put the books down… Bunny is annoyed but not surprised about the rumours that the 2nd film was stopped after complaints from the Catholic Church, the criticism of organised religion is merciless – but well earned. Bunny think she will lend these to her niece next….

Bunny wants to see!

The Time Traveler's WifeThe Time Traveler’s Wife is possibly the most beautiful love story that Bunny has ever read…I want to see the film too!!!

No Haste…

HastingsSo, having travelled on possibly the slowest train I have ever experienced in the UK (and yes, that includes the Circle and District Line), Bunny was quite looking forward to seeing a bit of Hastings (even though she knew she would not be going out to see Battle- yes, it is an actual town)…sadly I never made it past St Leonards, the old posh area…but I got some lovely sea views, especially on the train ride back…

Hastings beach

Good hair day :D

BedHeadBunny loves the TIGI products, the design, the smell, the names…and having finished her old bottles of Self Absorbed, it was time to try some new Bed Head stuff. This time Bunny decided on the Moisture Maniac -  and of course loving the 2 for £20 offer for the massive bottles with practical pumps…

Read the book!

Yes ManBunny is aware that the film has been made into a book – hence the cover – but strongly recommends that you read the book first, or even instead. The book is incredibly funny, set in London (Bunny passed through the area where he lives doing field visits in North East London), and it is the author’s own story…meaning of course that certain parts could probably have been cut out, but hey…. This version of the book even has a section about the making of the movie. And the reason why the film is so different than the book is that he still was on this “yes” quest… Bunny recommends as a good laugh!

Fruity :D

FruitiserBunny has always loved Appletiser, and is no less fan of their new Fruitiser range :D (even if it is a Coca Cola Company product). Lucky Bunny got a free sample from Toni&Guy, who are obviously doing some co-promotion, and will def be buying more in the future. Such a joy with something that hasn’t had any sugar added ;) Bunny is convinced that they are delicious with a bit of booze added too…enjoy responsibly, right ;)

Nothing-ham…

Nottingham CastleSo, Bunny has now been in Nottingham several times, and still all I know about it is that apparently the sheriff”s castle used to be here… Any helpful tips?

Alien nation…

Winstanley EstateBunny is fairly aware of living in close proximity to a large council estate, and that the shortest way to the train is crossing through it…so far the most troubling scenes have been a few young guys assembling in groups and the occasional police car passing through tho…so even I thought it must be a bit of an exaggeration setting up this sign on the telephone box…until I realised it was an ad for a new movie :) Two girls passing in the other direction were actually trying to call the number, still wonder what they found out :D Phonebox

The Notting Hill Carnival 2009

Grand Union PubBunny didn’t go and watch the parade this year, instead enjoying a glimpse of the passing fleets and the glorious sunshine canalside :D Bunny and friends had some fab conversations with random people – other guests escaping the crowds in the street… And was of course dancing with some policemen too…was a fab day as usual :) The next day hangover was not as fab tho…
