…and Bank Holiday Weekend
Bunny enjoyed a long lunch with her colleagues, at a nice little Italian restaurant…and of course had to accept their loyalty card, when just one more meal will get me a free glass of wine
And remember; The Notting Hill Carnival is on this weekend…will Bunny be there….?

So, having spent a day in Southampton, Bunny hasn’t really got much to add about the city over what has already been said by others…not I place I’d choose to visit again methinks.
I did however notice a massive marketing stunt – at the Food Terrace in West Quay shopping centre – from Sblended Milkshakes (apparently they used to be know as Shake About….not that I had ever heard about either before now). Vouchers and samples being handed out by young men; I guess they are targeting girls
Not sure how well it work, as seriously, these days, would you not prefer a healthy, but just as tasty smoothie…?

Gotta love the outdoor display of this butcher’s…on the surprisingly friendly Coombe Road. Also love how the sign next to it says “Jefferies too”. Not been tempted to go in there yet tho…
It’s no secret that Bunny loves her cheese…so I was very disappointed after being tempted by poxy 3 for 2 offer in Asda…the cheese slices stick together and no, the pack is not really resealable! Think a return to Jarlsberg and Cathedral City is very much required!!!
Bunny has invented another new game; helispotting from her balcony…can you see it?

Bunny really likes her new neighbourhood, Battersea :D

Nice cold Pepsi Max on Battersea Square…next time around it better be at least a nice glass of wine
Bunny has moved, and loves her new flat and surroundings on the riverside in Battersea

Bunny is still no quite sure how after visiting Glasgow she found herself in Edinburgh at the Gathering in Holyrood Park, but at least it spurred our creativity; so Elf and Bunny invented “the tartan game”. For details, please do email….
The backdrop was of course beautiful, and it was impressive to see all the clans marching up the Royal Mile afterwards.
I do wish we hadn’t really bothered to see the Castle Spectacular, but at least it gave us a real appetite for whisky tasting afterwards

Bunny has to admit that she was a bit concerned when during her stay in Glasgow Elf took her to a church in the West End…but luckily Òran Mór is actually converted into a bar. Very good, Bunny likes!
The Wee Pub amused me too
You’re bound to have a good night out in Ashton Lane
