Good at St George’s

St GeorgesBunny had to venture to her local hospital and was impressed with the refurbishments made…

A tad annoying to have just discarded her packs of Tamiflu with the recent news from Mexico, but then Bunny isn’t planning to venture that way again just yet….and hopes it really doesn’t turn pandemic

Park life

What started as a casual arrangement to see Kyoto Garden in Holland Park…which was quite disappointing by the way…turned into a great Sunday picnic in Kensington Gardens (the trick is to stay close to the Queensway entrance which has food and wine shops – and you can use the loo at the Hilton) and then ended up as a full-on piss up with Bunny having some vague memory of singing karaoke.. Great day in the parks tho :D

La sombra del viento

The Shadow of the WindBunny has just finished reading Carlos Ruiz Zafon’s The Shadow of the Wind and was mesmerized…especially because she loves Barcelona and Paris where the book is set…now looking forward to reading the prequel The Angels’ Game

Al fresco dining

CarlucciosSo, currently being a lady who shops and lunches, Bunny and friend decided to enjoy the sunshine while nursing a hangover, so where better to venture to than Carluccio’s at St Christopher’s Place (behind Selfridges). We both enjoyed the bruschetta and then tried the veal pizzaiola and the penne luganica…both very good and in copious amounts :D We were also very impressed with friendly and efficient waiter handling mad complaint lady at the next table..good entertainment for us tho :D

Hlavní město Praha

One of Bunny’s friends has spent a week in Prague Castle (as you do!)…Bunny doesn’t think he took her suggestions seriously, e.g. about seeing the gastronomical clock (yes, I know it is astronomical, but gastronomical is a lot funnier), having chicken with pistachios and trying rowing while singing the Volga Boat Song…but I am sure he enjoyed Prague a lot too :D

Fair enough

Ben & Jerry's Chocolate MacadamiaBunny is a great fan of Ben & Jerry’s, with Cherry Garcia as a clear favourite so far, but she is also nuts about macadamia nuts…what then better than Ben & Jerry’s new fairtrade variety…? It does contain more chocolate than nuts, but who is complaining…?

Cha Cha Mama or Wagamoon?

Cha Cha Moon

Shibuya CasualOn their way out on town on Saturday Bunny and friends grabbed a quick bite at Cha Cha Moon, one of the latest Wagamama copies. The lighting, acoustics and seats are far better, but the verdict on the food was same-same…with exception of the attacking chicken dumplings… (tip; don’t eat them while they are steaming hot). Nice location in Kingly Court tho; would have been great to get a seat outside… Since we were going drinking Bunny also dared a Shibuya Casual…nice and refreshing :)

Spring is in the air…

These shoes are made for walking…

…or anti-shoes, to follow the spiel of MBT…great for trotting around London…Bunny is looking forward to well toned legs and abdomen for summer…or does that also require some dieting and exercise…?

Nothing beige about these beigels

Beigel Bake

Bunny had the opportunity to try the original Brick Lane Beigel Bake bagels…and for a true bagel bunny it was a great experience :D
