I could probably get into quite a lot of trouble here, but I do love the fact that while the Celtic Tiger has taken away some of what lots of us thought was the identity and charm of Ireland, the Irish and Irishness have become increasingly popular over here. St Patrick’s Day is now a lot more fun in London than in Dublin, with everyone joining in.
