Light on life in London and the UK
…and then to Friesland, Bunny had some great working days in Sneek!
Amazing drive along the Afsluitdijk, view of IJsselmeer…

Sneek
Trying the perch

Fancy some sweets?
Seeing as bunny went through a phase of reading absolutely everything he’s ever written, it is hard to believe that I missed John Irving’s Last Night in Twister River when it was published last year… However, devouring the novel I found myself transferred back to familiar territory in New Hampshire, with all the usual references; wrestling, strange relationships, failed marriages, the fear of losing a child…the characters and the plot were still sufficiently unique to keep me enthralled throughout. Good old John

The Norwegian red squirrels are not as tame as their English grey cousins…they are however a lot cuter
Bunny had a fab holiday in Norway

On the Oslo fjord - island bound…

Picking arctic cloudberries
Little did Bunny know, that so soon after er visit to Dijon she would spend another random day at Lyon airport…well, at least it was sunny
Finally, the part that Bunny was waiting for at the Farnborough Air Show…the Red Arrows.

Taking helispotting to the next level, Bunny spent the day at the Farnborough Air Show. To my great amusement, my mates were the most fascinated with the A380…what is it with boys and the size of toys, hmmm….?
After a week of late night socialising AND full-on stress at work plus long days of shopping for Kitty, we opted for an easy outdoor dinner at Battersea Rickshaw on the Square. Enjoyable Indian cuisine, and the waiter and chef did their best to adhere to Kitty’s dietary requirements. Arriving quite late we were probably also the last guests to leave, well, what can you do about those late night licences….?
